Why is the Estate of Katie Mays Suing her Chiropractor?

The actions of her chiropractor could have led to Katie’s death.

Death brings much grief.

Especially when the loss of life is quite unexpected.

Such was the case with model Katie Mays who died at age 34 from a stroke.

According to a recent Fox News article titled “Playboy model Katie May's estate sues chiropractor for wrongful death,” the death may have been the result of malpractice ... even though it was ruled an accident.

In fact, Alex Maimon—the father of her daughter—recently filed a lawsuit against her chiropractor Eric Marc Swartz.

Why?

She died just four days after receiving an adjustment on her neck.

What does the lawsuit claim?

The lawsuit claims Doctor Swartz did not send May to a hospital when he should have and instead made her condition worse through his adjustments.

The Los Angeles County Coroner report corroborated these claims.

Why sue?

Maimon claims he tried to work with insurance provider for the chiropractor but got nowhere.

This left him with the suing as the only option.

Should his suit be successful, Maimon says the money would be set aside to pay for the college education of their daughter.
