According to a recent Wealth Advisor article titled “Even Brad Pitt Has Prepared A Will (And A Post-Divorce Trust),” Brad Pitt made a wise estate planning decision.
How?
Brad Pitt chose to create an estate plan to ensure his children received his assets rather than his ex-wife Angelina Jolie.
Although some of his assets will go to Angelina in the divorce for the settlement and child support, Pitt wanted to protect the rest.
To do so, he has created a trust to deposit millions for his children Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, Pax, Know, and Vivienne.
These funds will be untouchable by Angelina.
The divorce has been ugly thus far.
Pitt is taking steps to make sure his estate is not nearly as messy.
